Endless Assemblies explores robotic pick-and-place fabrication through the design of a construction system capable of continuous reassembly. The project investigates how a limited set of timber elements can be organized into repeatable structural patterns that extend vertically and compound over time, creating an assembly logic that can theoretically continue without a fixed endpoint.

The system was developed around two related ideas of endlessness: a vertically repeating pattern that could extend indefinitely, and a sequential fabrication process in which material could be continuously reorganized and reused within a looping construction cycle. Rather than producing a fixed object, the project focused on the design of a repeatable system for ongoing fabrication and transformation.

The workflow was developed computationally using Rhino, Grasshopper, and GH Python, with fabrication carried out through robotic pick-and-place assembly using a UR5 industrial robot. The project was developed collaboratively with Abhipsa Pal, Adam Anouar, and Lihin Weera.
