The project explored the possibilities and limitations of steel through advanced fabrication methods using a CNC plasma cutter. Working within a one-foot-square sheet, the design required all material to be used while creating a connection between two steel pieces.

The final assembly developed a continuous undulation of opposing strips, avoiding flat connections so the movement of the material remained uninterrupted. Through this process, the project examined how fabrication constraints can directly inform form, connection, and material behavior.
